Help with placing an order

In this section you’ll find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions concerning the Timissimmo ordering process.

Viewing your personalized watch

Q:   Your photo doesn’t appear in the confirmation process but did appear when you used the custom watch making system.

A:   Hmm… while you were making your personalized watch, you imported a photo and we asked you to avoid special accents and spaces in the name of your photo file. Please rename the file on your computer’s hard drive, go back to the personalization process and import the photo again.

If you can’t do it yourself… don’t worry ! We can still find your photo on our website and create your watch. If you can’t figure it out yourself, please send us an email at orders @ timissimo dot com.

Q:   "Your text here" appears on the confirmation screen.

A:   Don’t worry : this is the default text for those who’d like to add text to a photo. If you haven’t personalized the text don’t worry, we’ll take out this texte automatically.

Q:   When clicking on the link « confirm your order » from email confirming my order, the text on the back of the watch is written on one line, and while you were creating your custom watch i twas written on 2 lines.

A:   When writing your text for the back of the watch, make sure that you use the ENTER key to add an additional line. Maybe it’s your web browser, whatever went wrong… DON’T WORRY, we systematically correct and confirm each order before making your watch.

Metal watch bands

Q:  How do I take off some links on a metal watch band ? A: To adjust your metal watch band, you need to turn it inside out and take off the staples that are indicated by an arrow while sliding away from the watch. Take off the extra links and re-link the remaining links with the staple. Most jewelry stores will adjust your watch for you or, you can send it back to us by mail while indicating the number of links to remove.

Ordering

Q:   I would like to order 3 different watches and would like to take advantage of the promotion price of $20 from the 2rd watch on.

A:   The first watch is $49, from the 2nd watch on it’s $20 per watch. Place your orders and send us an email with your order numbers. We’ll re-credit your account with the difference. For example : 3 watches in two different orders, one order for $X a second order for $X and we’ll re-credit your credit card account with the difference.

Q:   I placed an order and after payment, received a message that “your bank did not accept payment” but I still received the order confirmation email. Is my order still valid ?

A:   No, because your bank refused payment. Please re-place your order and use another method of payment.

Shipping

Q:   I ordered « normal » shipping and I still haven’t received my watch. What’s going on ?

A:   If your bank or credit establishment confirmed payment then your watch may be held up at the Post Office and there is nothing we can do about it. Please check your order confirmation email and make sure that you entered your shipping address correctly.

Q:   I ordered « express shipping » (48 hour shipping), it has been 3 days and I still haven’t received my watch. What’s going on ?

A:   If your bank or credit establishment confirmed payment then your watch may be held up at the Post Office and there is nothing we can do about it. Please check your order confirmation email and make sure that you entered your shipping address correctly. Please contact us so that we can give you your shipping number to track your package on-line.

For express shipping our watches are shipped the same day if you order before noon. For orders placed after noon, they are shipped the next day.

Shipment tracking

Q:  I’d like to track my package online.

A:   Online package tracking is only available for Express shipping (48 hours).

Q:   I’d like to see the size difference between the men’s and women’s watches.
